Prayer Is A Sacred Space

There's a sacred space when you and your spouse pray for one another. Prayer is a powerful gift that God invites us to partake in. The Lord gives us direct access to His throne of grace and He promises to answer our prayers, acccording to His will.

Praying for a stronger marriage will be a powerful force that will help create a life-long marriage. Prayer can make the difference between a flourishing marriage and one that falters. It is essential for a couple to pray for one another.

Colossians 1:9 says, "For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives..."

If praying for your spouse is new to you, then here are few tips:

Take a few moments to pray for your spouse daily using these seven prayer prompts.

7. Pray for the dreams and aspirations of your spouse.

Let's take a minute and pray.

"Heavenly Father, I thank you for the gift of prayer, and boldy ask for Your blessing in our marriage. I pray you would be glorified in my marriage, and that my spouse and I learn to lean upon Your strength and wisdom in all things. I ask for a stronger bond of unity in our marriage covenant. I am excited and thankful to see the work of Your hand in our marriage, as we strive to seek Your face daily. I thank You for all these things. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen!"
